Description

• Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining complex Power BI dashboards, performing advanced data analysis, creating and troubleshooting DAX calculations, and extracting/reporting on large datasets.
• Candidate must be highly proficient in Power BI Desktop and Service, including semantic models, data relationships, refresh management, report publishing, and troubleshooting.
• Strong SQL Server and Azure SQL Managed Instance experience is required to support the District's reporting and data environment.
• Experience with Power Query and report/data model performance tuning is important. The team is looking for someone who can investigate slow reports, optimize queries, and improve overall reporting efficiency.
• Candidate should have exposure to Microsoft Fabric, including some administrative capabilities. The team is evaluating and optimizing Fabric performance for large-scale data workloads and statistical reporting, making Fabric monitoring and optimization experience highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills are critical. The team is described as collaborative, easy to work with, and looking for someone who can quickly integrate and contribute with minimal ramp-up
