Description

Establish the Power BI workspace for Technology Services and build priority dashboards with Shared Services.

Build and maintain data models, connections, and transformations. Create complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs for advanced analytics. Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including setting up APIs with enterprise platforms. Optimize performance by tuning queries and implementing efficient data models. Configure deployment pipelines, implement security measures, and provide requirements to Engineering regarding data lake or warehouse needs.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data models, connections, and transformations within Power BI.
• Create complex DAX calculations, measures, and KPIs to support advanced analytics.
• Extract, transform, and load data from various sources, including setting up APIs with enterprise platforms.
• Optimize performance by tuning queries and implementing efficient data models.
• Configure deployment pipelines, implement security measures, and provide requirements to Engineering regarding data lake or warehouse needs.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of direct hands-on experience with Power BI.
• Strong proficiency in DAX and Power Query.
• Advanced SQL skills and database knowledge.
• Experience connecting to APIs and multiple enterprise platforms.
• In-depth understanding of data modeling and data warehousing techniques.
• Experience managing large datasets and incremental data loads.
• Ability to translate complex functional and technical requirements into architectural designs.

Preferred Skills

• Document development, administration, and best practice procedures.
