You will specialize in integrating and automating Power BI environments.

Responsibilities

• Configure Power BI environments including workspaces, datasets, reports, and gateways.
• Develop REST API-based automation for report publishing, dataset refresh, and workspace synchronization.
• Define and apply Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) rules based on user roles.
• Automate deployment workflows for Power BI assets using PowerShell or Azure DevOps.
• Partner with data engineers to ensure clean, optimized data models and maintain dataset lineage.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Power BI development and administration.
• Proficiency in Power BI REST APIs, JavaScript SDK, and Power BI Embedded.
• Deep understanding of RLS/OLS, workspace management, and dataset security.
• Hands-on experience with Azure AD, service principals, and token authentication flows.
• Expert knowledge of DAX, data modeling, and performance tuning best practices.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools, PowerShell automation, and monitoring frameworks.
• Experience configuring and managing Power BI gateways.
