Description

You will lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable Power BI solutions to meet organizational business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design Power BI solutions and data models that align with business intelligence objectives and stakeholder needs.
• Develop data transformations, aggregations, calculation groups, and complex DAX calculations to generate meaningful metrics.
• Build interactive dashboards and reports while ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and high-quality visualization.
• Collaborate with data engineers to extract, transform, and cleanse data from databases, warehouses, and APIs.
• Optimize solution performance by resolving bottlenecks, enhancing query execution, and managing data refresh automation.
• Implement data security, access controls, and governance policies to protect data integrity and confidentiality.
• Monitor system health and proactively resolve performance or operational issues within the Power BI environment.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Power BI development and implementation.
• Expertise in Power BI Desktop, Power Query, DAX, and M.
• Deep understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
• Proficiency in SQL and working with relational databases.
• Experience resolving performance issues on large-scale BI implementations on big data platforms.
• Proven experience with CI/CD and setting up automated testing for Power BI reports.
• Experience setting up monitoring and alerting for Power BI report performance and operational health.
• Strong grasp of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of GCP and its integration with Power BI.
• Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate or Microsoft Certified: Power BI Certified.
