Description

Lead the architecture, administration, and development of the organizational BI toolset.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement semantic dataset models and Power BI security frameworks.
• Develop dashboards, paginated reports, and complex DAX calculations.
• Optimize performance through T-SQL query tuning and view creation.
• Manage workspace security, including roles, group access, and Row Level Security (RLS).
• Automate dataset refreshes and report distribution using Power Automate.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in BI development and architecture.
• Expertise in Power BI architecture and hands-on DAX development.
• Strong T-SQL skills, including query tuning and creating views.
• Proficiency with the MS SQL Server BI stack, including SSRS and Power Query.
• Experience with MDX and semantic dataset modeling.
• Hands-on experience with paginated reports and dynamic subscriptions.
• Knowledge of Power BI workspace administration and security best practices.
• Experience using GitHub for Power BI source control.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing Power Automate for report distribution workflows.
