Description

You will design and develop reporting solutions and applications using the Microsoft Power Platform.

Responsibilities

  • Design effective BI data models using the Kimball methodology.
  • Develop complex DAX expressions for running totals, simulated balance calculations, and performant calculations on large datasets.
  • Build Power Apps with writeback capabilities to Azure data sources.
  • Create custom Power BI visualizations, layouts, and navigation features like bookmarks and drill-throughs.
  • Optimize report performance and manage Power BI configuration, setup, and licensing.

Required Skills

  • 7 years of experience in Power BI development.
  • 3+ years of experience in Power Apps and Power Automate.
  • Advanced DAX skills for complex data manipulation.
  • Strong data modeling capabilities and Kimball methodology expertise.
  • Proficiency in SQL for retrieving and manipulating data from RDBMS.
  • Experience with Azure data sources including Blobs, Azure SQL DW, and SQL DB.
  • Experience with SAP BW, HANA, SQL Server, and Oracle.
  • Strong UI skills, including dynamic dimensions and dynamic measures.
  • Ability to perform data transformations in the Power BI query editor.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Python programming, PySpark, or Scala.
  • DBR experience.
