Description

Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI reporting solutions to support data-driven decision-making.

Responsibilities

• Develop end-to-end Power BI solutions, including data modeling, visualization design, and testing.
• Extract, transform, and load data using SQL to support report development.
• Lead scoping sessions with business lines to capture objectives and prioritize BI opportunities.
• Create mock-up reports for proof-of-concept reviews and manage the end-to-end data lifecycle.
• Support EAM integration with Power BI and assist in end-user training and documentation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of overall professional experience.
• 2-3 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI analytics software.
• 2+ years of experience developing Power BI solutions, including modeling and design.
• Proficiency in DAX, M, ETL (Power Query), and SQL.
• 2+ years of experience with HxGN EAM or other enterprise data management software.
• Strong understanding of complex relational database organization and functionality.
• Experience with performance optimization and data extraction/integration tools.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously under tight deadlines.

Preferred Skills

• 1-2 years of experience in the Railroad or Transit industry.
• 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise data analysis.
• Experience working within an Agile project delivery model.
