Description

Develop and maintain Power BI solutions for enterprise asset management reporting.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and load data using SQL to support reporting requirements.
• Scope BI solution sessions with business lines to capture objectives and prioritize opportunities.
• Create mock-up reports for proof-of-concept reviews and stakeholder validation.
• Manage the end-to-end data lifecycle, including reviewing data loads for accuracy and completeness.
• Research and resolve system problems or errors reported by users.

Required Skills

• 5-7 years of experience using Microsoft Power BI analytics software.
• Minimum 5 years of experience with HxGN EAM or similar enterprise asset management software.
• Minimum 5 years of IT-related experience.
• 2+ years developing Power BI solutions, including modeling, design, and testing of data visualization or paginated reports.
• Proficiency in DAX, M, ETL (Power Query), and SQL.
• Experience with data extraction, integration, and performance optimization.
• Strong understanding of complex relational database organization, design, and functionality.
• 1-2 years of experience working within the Railroad or Transit industry.

Preferred Skills

• Microsoft Power BI or Azure certifications.
• Experience working in an Agile project delivery model.
