Description

Design and build Power BI analytics solutions that transform raw data into actionable insights through interactive dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and publish Power BI reports and data models using best practices for visualization and storytelling.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications and establish project timelines.
• Implement security within reports and dashboards while troubleshooting and tuning report performance.
• Build reports and automations for both internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with agency and technical personnel to provide architecture, design, and configuration support.

Required Skills

• 4+ years of experience developing Power BI data models and publishing reports.
• In-depth knowledge of DAX, Power Query, and data visualization techniques.
• Proven experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, reporting, data warehousing, and database architecture.
• Experience with the Microsoft technology stack, including SQL Server, SSMS, SSAS, Azure Data Platform, and Azure Data Factory.
• Proficiency with source control and process management tools such as MS DevOps.
• Working knowledge of SOA-based architecture, including REST and SOAP.
• 4+ years of experience converting business needs into technical specifications.
• 4+ years of experience identifying business requirements to create data models from raw data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Agile Development Methodology.
• Background in business analysis.
