Role Overview:

We are looking for a Power BI + Snowflake Engineer to design, develop, and optimize modern data analytics and visualization solutions for MGX’s enterprise-level data platform. The role combines expertise in data modelling, ETL integration, and business intelligence reporting to transform raw Snowflake data into actionable insights using Power BI.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and semantic models for business and operational analytics.
• Design and implement data models (Star/Snowflake schema) optimized for analytics on Snowflake.
• Build SQL scripts, views, and stored procedures in Snowflake for reporting and data consumption layers.
• Collaborate with data engineers and analysts to ensure data accuracy, quality, and governance.
• Implement role-based access controls (RBAC) and performance optimization within Power BI and Snowflake.
• Connect and integrate Power BI with Snowflake via ODBC / DirectQuery / Import modes.
• Support data ingestion pipelines from ETL tools (e.g., DBT, Airflow, Fivetran, Informatica) as needed.
• Create reusable templates and maintain documentation for reporting standards and metadata.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across business units to translate KPIs and metrics into analytical solutions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field.
• Certification(s): Snowflake SnowPro Core / Power BI Data Analyst Associate preferred.
• Experience in cloud platforms (Azure or AWS).
• Familiarity with Data Governance and security practices
