Description

You will own the database layer for Dynamics integrations, focusing on performance and reliability.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain stored procedures, views, and functions in SQL Server.
• Profile slow-running queries and implement performance tuning via indexing and query refactoring.
• Collaborate with developers and analysts to translate requirements into scalable database solutions.
• Monitor database health, ensuring security, reliability, and optimal performance.
• Support ETL workflows and assist with Power BI data modeling and DAX optimization.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SQL Server and T-SQL.
• Deep understanding of execution plans, indexing strategies, and normalization.
• Experience managing large datasets in high-performance environments.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex database issues independently.
• Familiarity with Dynamics ecosystem data structures.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI dashboard development and gateway configuration.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
• Experience using Git for version control in database contexts.
