Description

You will design and validate power electronics systems, including DC-DC converters and LDOs, ensuring schematic integrity and manufacturability.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design schematics and PCB layouts for power supplies using tools like KiCad or Altium.
• Interpret component datasheets to select appropriate switching regulators, inductors, and capacitors.
• Ensure designs meet DRC, manufacturability, and basic EMI standards.
• Build validation frameworks and define measurable design metrics for evaluation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in power electronics or PCB design.
• Strong foundation in DC-DC converters, LDOs, and power components.
• Proficiency in PCB design tools such as KiCad, Altium, or similar.
• Understanding of DRC, manufacturability, and EMI basics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with strong analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AC-DC power supply design and thermal design.
• Familiarity with simulation tools and power integrity analysis.
• Basic experience with Python or terminal-based verification scripts.
