Description

Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions within a Microsoft GCC tenant.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, prototyping, and technical documentation for D365 and Power Platform projects.
• Serve as the primary subject matter expert for development efforts, issue resolution, and solution lifecycle management.
• Manage deployment, troubleshooting, and remediation of technical issues.
• Define and refine platform governance approaches in adherence to VITAs standards and Commonwealth IT policies.
• Act as a liaison between VITAs and customer agencies to identify efficient technology offerings and recommend alternatives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform development.
• Extensive experience with model-driven apps, canvas apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse.
• Hands-on expertise in Dynamics 365 customization, configuration, and deployment.
• Proven experience working within a Microsoft GCC tenant.
• Deep knowledge of solution management using managed/unmanaged solutions, environment variables, and reusable components.
• Proficiency with custom connectors, Azure Functions, and API integrations.
• Experience with role-based security configuration and data migration tools.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools including Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Working knowledge of Commonwealth of Virginia IT policies, governance, and enterprise architecture standards.
• Direct experience working with Virginia state agencies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Field Service, or Sales modules.
• Knowledge of Microsoft licensing models for Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
