Description

You will design, implement, and maintain advanced power systems applications for electric utility customers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement EMS, ADMS, and SCADA system configurations to meet project commitments.
• Design metamodels and transform data to target database formats using CIM.
• Lead the software development lifecycle, including defining functional specifications, coding, testing, and integration.
• Provide technical leadership and domain expertise to a team of application software engineers.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in power systems application development.
• Hands-on experience with Electrical Data Modelling.
• Proficiency in SCADA, OMS, DMS, and EMS software configurations.
• Strong database skills using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Functional understanding of utility GRID applications, including Outage Management, Distribution Management, or Energy Management.
• Exposure to CIM and other model exchange formats.
• Practical knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Lean, Agile, XP, and CI.
• Bachelor of Computer Science degree.
