Description

You will design and maintain power systems applications for electric utility transmission and distribution operators.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Implement EMS, ADMS, and SCADA software configurations and systems.
• Design metamodels and transform data to target database formats using CIM and other model exchange formats.
• Lead software development and delivery to ensure projects meet schedule and customer expectations.
• Work directly with electric utility customers on model migration and data conversion.
• Define functional software specifications, including design, coding, testing, integration, and maintenance.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in power systems applications.
• Hands-on experience with SCADA, OMS, DMS, and EMS software configurations.
• Strong electrical data modelling skills and understanding of CIM.
• Proficiency in SQL and PL/SQL database management.
• Deep knowledge of electric utility industry practices and GRID applications.
• Experience following SDLC principles and Agile methodologies.
• Proven software design and development skills.
• Ability to provide technical leadership to a team of software engineers.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree in Engineering or related field.
• 2 years minimum tenure in previous power systems roles.
