Description

You will develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Application software, collaborating with Electric Utilities and ISOs to define functional specifications and resolve issues in live customer environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, test, integrate, tune, and deliver application functions for Energy Management Systems.
• Customize Energy Management Systems for Electric Power Utilities and analyze system problems in live environments.
• Define functional software specifications with Electric Utilities and Independent System Operators (ISOs).
• Debug and interpret logs using SQL and Shell Scripting.

Required Skills

• 5+ years developing and delivering Energy Management Systems for Electric Power Utilities.
• 5+ years with OOPS using C++ or Full Stack Java.
• 5 years experience with C, Java, and SQL/Oracle Database.
• 5+ years experience with AEMS product design and development.
• Experience with LINUX and Windows Operating Systems.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and ClearCase.
• 5 years experience on Realtime or Mission Critical Systems.

Preferred Skills

• Experience customizing and implementing Network or Transmission Applications (Load Flow, State Estimator, AGC, OPF, CA).
• Experience performing data modelling.
