Description

You will integrate, configure, and validate EMS/SCADA solutions for electric utility, TSO, and ISO customers.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Understand functional and integration requirements for EMS, SCADA, and advanced power system applications.
• Configure and integrate applications with field devices, telemetry, RTUs, and adjacent enterprise systems.
• Perform data modelling, configuration, and interface mapping for measurements, controls, alarms, and topology.
• Develop and execute integration and system test plans, including regression and performance testing.
• Investigate and resolve defects by analyzing logs, configuration, and protocol traces.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in power system applications or SCADA systems.
• Hands-on expertise with GE PowerOn Reliance (XA21), AEMS Platform, GE eTerra, or PowerOn Advantage Software.
• Experience with SCADA/DMS/EMS from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider, or equivalent platforms.
• Proficiency in C, C++, Perl, or Java for application interfacing and scripting.
• Experience with EMS functions: Power Flow, State Estimation, Contingency Analysis (N1), or Automatic Generation Control (AGC).
• Knowledge of real-time data acquisition, Historian integration, data replication, and logging.
• Familiarity with SLD creation, HMI development, and real-time dashboards.
• Experience with query optimization and database health monitoring.
