Description

You will design, develop, and implement large-scale solutions using PowerBuilder while supporting and refactoring legacy codebases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, document, and refactor legacy applications with limited documentation.
• Optimize system designs for performance, resiliency, and reliability across multiple teams.
• Implement solutions using object-oriented design techniques and Agile methodologies.
• Support and maintain existing PowerBuilder applications.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience designing and developing production solutions.
• 7-9+ years of PowerBuilder experience.
• Proficiency with PowerBuilder Framework Components.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, such as SCRUM.
• Proficiency in DevOps Toolchain methodologies, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment.
• Proficiency in object-oriented design techniques.
• Experience with GitHub and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with SOAP and REST APIs.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• Experience in the Airline Industry.
