Description

You will develop and maintain enterprise applications using PowerBuilder, refactoring legacy systems and optimizing designs for incremental releases.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise applications using PowerBuilder.
• Analyze, document, and refactor legacy applications with limited documentation.
• Optimize system designs to enable small, safe, incremental releases across multiple teams.
• Apply object-oriented design techniques when building solutions.
• Contribute to the DevOps toolchain, implementing CI/CD practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Expert proficiency in PowerBuilder and PowerBuilder UI.
• Strong command of object-oriented design principles.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies, specifically SCRUM.
• Experience with version control using GitHub or Azure DevOps.
• Knowledge of REST and SOAP integration patterns.
• Familiarity with database technologies, including Oracle and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with modern frameworks such as .NET Core or C#.
