Description

You will maintain and migrate legacy PowerBuilder applications, focusing on data process documentation and T-SQL development.

Responsibilities

• Research legacy PowerBuilder source code to document application data processes and support migration efforts.
• Write complex T-SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis to support data cleansing.
• Document and perform unit testing to support program changes and provide root cause analysis for production issues.
• Create and maintain documentation for programs, system specifications, and flow diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with PowerBuilder (version 7 or higher).
• 10 years of experience in T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
• 10 years of experience in data management, including profiling, mapping, and validation.
• 10 years of experience in technical documentation and system specification creation.
• 5 years of experience with source control technologies such as TFS, Azure DevOps, or GIT.
• 5 years of experience supporting test scenarios with Business Analysts.
• 5 years of experience in production support and root cause analysis.
• Experience following change management procedures.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
