PowerBuilder Developer

You will manage data integrity and application logic through PowerBuilder development and advanced database querying.

Responsibilities

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document application data flows.
• Develop processes to extract, manipulate, and cleanse data for migrations.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, validation, and analysis.
• Document unit testing, system specifications, and flow diagrams.
• Conduct root cause analysis for production support issues and follow change management procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher).
• 10+ years of T-SQL query writing.
• 10+ years of complex SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
• 10+ years of experience in data management, profiling, and mapping.
• 10+ years of experience in unit testing and documentation.
• 5+ years of experience using source control such as TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.
• Experience supporting test scenarios alongside Business Analysts.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Lansing, MI.
