Description

You will research, modify, and document PowerBuilder source code and data flows.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document application data steps.
• Write complex T-SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Sybase and MS SQL Server.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis for migration and cleansing.
• Document unit tests, analyze root causes of problems, and maintain system specifications and flow diagrams.
• Collaborate with clients or Business Analysts to support test scenarios and execute system updates via change management procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of PowerBuilder development (version 7 or higher).
• 10+ years of T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
• 10+ years of experience in data management, including profiling, mapping, and validation.
• 10+ years of experience in unit testing and technical documentation.
• 5+ years of experience with source control technologies like TFS, Azure DevOps, or Git.
• 5+ years of experience in production support and root cause analysis.
• 5+ years of experience supporting test scenarios and change management.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
