Description

You will modify PowerBuilder applications, manage data flows, and provide production support in Lansing, MI.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document application data flows.
• Write complex T-SQL queries to extract data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
• Develop processes for data extraction, manipulation, migration, and cleansing.
• Execute unit testing, root cause analysis, and change management procedures.
• Maintain documentation for programs, system specifications, and flow diagrams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher).
• 10+ years of T-SQL query writing for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
• 10+ years of data management experience, including profiling, mapping, and validation.
• 10+ years of experience in unit testing and technical documentation.
• 5+ years of experience with source control such as TFS/Azure DevOps or GIT.
• 5+ years of production support and root cause analysis.
• 5+ years of experience in change management and supporting test scenarios with Business Analysts.

Preferred Skills

• Some college education, preferably in Computer Science, IT, or Computer Engineering.
