Description

Maintain and modify PowerBuilder applications while managing complex data migrations and system documentation.

Responsibilities

• Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document data processing steps.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
• Perform data profiling, mapping, validation, and cleansing to support migration processes.
• Document program changes, system specifications, and flow diagrams.
• Conduct unit testing and root cause analysis to resolve identified technical problems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PowerBuilder development.
• Advanced T-SQL query writing skills for MS SQL Server and Sybase.
• Experience managing data migration, data profiling, and data mapping.
• Proficiency with source control tools such as TFS, Azure DevOps, or Git.
• Strong background in unit testing and production support.
• Ability to create and maintain technical documentation and flow diagrams.
• Experience with data manipulation and validation.
