Description

You will manage legacy PowerBuilder applications and execute complex data migration and cleansing processes.

Responsibilities

• Research legacy PowerBuilder source code to document application data flows.
• Write complex SQL queries to extract data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
• Develop processes for data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis to support migration.
• Perform unit testing and document system specifications, program changes, and flow diagrams.
• Analyze identified problems to provide root cause analysis and support test scenarios with Business Analysts.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in T-SQL query writing.
• 10+ years of experience in documenting and performing unit testing.
• 5+ years of PowerBuilder Development (version 7 or higher).
• 5+ years of experience with source control such as TFS, Azure DevOps, or Git.
• Expertise in writing complex queries for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related IT discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data cleansing and validation strategies.
• Strong ability to collaborate with Business Analysts on test scenarios.
