Description

You will act as a PowerBuilder Developer and IT Analyst focusing on application development, data management, and production support.

Responsibilities

  • Research and modify PowerBuilder source code to document application data workflows.
  • Write complex T-SQL queries to extract and manipulate data from Sybase and MS SQL Server databases.
  • Perform data profiling, mapping, manipulation, validation, and analysis to support migration and cleansing.
  • Document and execute unit testing, system specifications, and flow diagrams.
  • Analyze identified problems to perform root cause analysis and support change management procedures.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in software development and data management.
  • PowerBuilder development experience (version 7 or higher).
  • Advanced T-SQL query writing skills for Sybase and MS SQL Server.
  • Experience with source control technologies including TFS, Azure DevOps, or GIT.
  • Proven ability in data profiling, mapping, and cleansing.
  • Experience with unit testing and production support.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid office environment in Lansing, MI.
  • Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
