Description

You will develop and maintain custom government off-the-shelf (GOTS) client software, focusing on new functionality and existing application stability.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop new features and maintain existing GOTS client applications.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to implement approved change requests.
• Identify and remediate security vulnerabilities under technical oversight.
• Build installation packages using Visual Studio and WiX, managing system upgrade paths.
• Create work proposals, technical documentation, and manage project resources.

Required Skills

• PowerBuilder 2017 R3 or above, including PFC, Dynamic Data, MDI, and Object Oriented Programming.
• Relational database constructs with experience in Sybase or Oracle.
• Linux OS 6 and above administration and development.
• Configuration management and version control using SVN.
• Experience with Jenkins Automation Server, JIRA, and Crucible.
• Proficiency with Putty and WinSCP.
• Ability to work with Web Tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with government off-the-shelf (GOTS) software maintenance.
