Description

Maintain and modernize legacy PowerBuilder desktop applications while supporting migration to Java.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, enhance, and fix defects in legacy PowerBuilder applications.
• Collaborate with business partners to address bugs and implement enhancements using Jira.
• Conduct unit, QA, and UAT testing to meet industry and client standards.
• Manage source code, change management, and release processes.
• Support modernization projects and future migrations to Java.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in PowerBuilder application development.
• Strong proficiency with PL/SQL and Oracle relational databases.
• Expertise in SQL, including CRUD operations and View creation.
• Experience using Git for source code management.
• Proficiency in PFC class libraries.
• Familiarity with client/server technologies including VB and Delphi.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and modern frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with MySQL.
