Description

Maintain and enhance legacy PowerBuilder applications while supporting modernization efforts.

Responsibilities

• Fix bugs, defects, and application enhancements tracked in Jira.
• Troubleshoot legacy issues in collaboration with technical leads and business partners.
• Perform unit testing, code testing, QA support, and UAT testing.
• Manage source code, changes, and releases following established processes.
• Assist with future state Java migrations and provide knowledge transfer.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in PowerBuilder application development.
• Proficiency in writing PL/SQL database procedures.
• Hands-on experience with PFC class libraries.
• Experience with Client-Server environments (VB, Delphi, or PowerBuilder).
• Strong SQL skills for CRUD operations and view creation.
• Experience working with Oracle Relational Databases.
• Proficiency with Git for source code management.
• Experience with JavaScript and frameworks like Angular, React, or Vue.

Preferred Skills

• Proven ability to maintain and update complex legacy codebases.
