Description

You will serve as the functional expert for SAP Production Planning and Detail Scheduling (PPDS), supporting planning and supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain SAP PPDS modules, ensuring process sustainability and adherence to technical standards.
• Design, specify, and implement system changes, including gap analysis and functional specifications for ABAP development.
• Provide Level 2 and 3 support for production systems and coordinate with IT teams for accurate change delivery.
• Break down large change requests into workstreams, estimating effort and supporting project management activities.
• Integrate SAP systems with IBM IIB middleware and troubleshoot production environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning, specifically S/4HANA (2021 or older) and APO.
• Deep expertise in PPDS, including Planned Orders, Production Orders, Standard/Custom Heuristics, and MRP.
• Experience with Capacity Planning, Process Chains, and Master Data (Routings, BOMs, Production Versions).
• Proficiency in ABAP debugging, Embedded Analytics, CDS Views, and SAP HANA Live.
• Proven track record of three full-cycle implementations from blueprint to go-live.
• SAP VC and BRF+ configuration knowledge.
• Ability to author detailed functional specifications and estimate development effort.
