Description

You will own pre-silicon and post-silicon validation tasks for CPU IPs.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write C code for CPU IPs at the bare metal and firmware level.
• Develop validation plans and corresponding test code.
• Create functional code on emulation platforms to target post-silicon validation.
• Coordinate with design teams and IP vendors to ensure task completion.
• Act as the primary point of contact for vendor communications.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Pre-Silicon or Post-Silicon validation.
• Strong C coding skills for bare metal and firmware debugging.
• Experience with emulation platforms and FPGA prototyping platforms.
• Proficiency with Jasper and Palladium.
• Deep understanding of CPU architecture, including ARM, Client, or MIPS.
• Hands-on experience with design protocols such as PCIe, AXI, USB, Gigabit Ethernet, or MIPI.
• Experience with low-speed protocols including SPI, I2C, UART, and Mixed signal IPs.
• Experience using measurement instruments like Oscilloscopes, Logic Analyzers, and Current Analyzers.
• Working knowledge of Python, TCL, or Perl.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to UVM methodology.
• Exposure to WiFi and Bluetooth protocols.
