Description

You will manage the implementation and maintenance of client billing requirements and financial arrangements.

Responsibilities

• Implement client billing requirements including rate arrangements, phase/task coding, and timekeeper approvals.
• Maintain client and matter settings within the billing system and firm deal database.
• Manage the data-mining process for new and existing matters to track fee arrangements, cost drivers, and task coding.
• Monitor compliance with firm budgeting, pricing policies, and client financial guidelines.
• Collaborate with Billing, eBilling, and Practice Specialists to ensure accurate administration of financial arrangements.
• Support lawyers and marketing teams with RFP responses, pitches, and pricing proposals.
• Enter budgets into matter management tools and provide status reports to partners.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports related to practice management.

Required Skills

• Experience with research and data analysis.
• Proficiency in implementation of billing rate arrangements.
• Knowledge of phase/task coding.
• Ability to manage and update client discount arrangements and tracking alerts.
• Experience with data-mining for matter types and cost drivers.
• Capacity to work with online matter management tools and databases.
• Any graduate degree.
