Description

Lead technical strategy and architecture for API development, platforms, and developer tools. You will own the engineering practice, ensuring high-quality, scalable, and secure cloud-native solutions.

Responsibilities

• Define and oversee engineering maturity, standards, and design patterns for software and platform teams.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable, secure, and cloud-native platforms.
• Mentor engineers and drive adoption of DevOps practices, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Partner with leadership to make key architectural decisions and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects to implement governance and compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of professional software development, architecture, and delivery experience.
• Expertise in service-oriented, cloud-native, and modernization architectures.
• Proficiency in Java, Node.js, .NET/C#, Python, and JavaScript.
• Experience with React, Angular, and JSON schema design.
• Strong background in API development (GraphQL, REST, gRPC).
• Competency with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD automation (Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab) and event-driven/pub-sub patterns.
• Proficiency with relational and non-relational databases.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and secure programming practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in Enterprise Architecture with a focus on digital transformation.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and compliance requirements.
