Principal Architect

You will serve as a strategic technical advisor to C-level leadership, designing enterprise-scale solutions for the healthcare payer market.

Responsibilities

• Advise CTOs and CIOs on technology strategy, digital transformation, and the integration of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
• Design scalable technology solutions and AI-driven platforms tailored to payer-specific needs and regulatory requirements.
• Develop whitepapers, workshops, and executive briefings to communicate technical and business value to stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members to foster technical excellence and innovation.
• Manage full lifecycle solution development engagements for enterprise initiatives with annual gross fees exceeding $5M.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in technology roles, with at least 5 years focused on healthcare payer systems.
• Deep knowledge of payer-specific processes including claims adjudication, enrollment, billing, and provider networks.
• Strong foundation in software development and cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Experience with integration technologies, including APIs and ETL processes.
• Expertise in regulatory frameworks such as HIPAA and CMS guidelines.
• Proven ability to deliver complex enterprise-level solutions within a professional services or systems integration environment.
• Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts into business-focused narratives for executive audiences.
• Experience managing multiple client priorities in a high-stakes consulting environment.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with enterprise architecture frameworks like TOGAF or Zachman.
• Advanced degree (MBA, MS in Computer Science, or related field).
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect or TOGAF certification.
