Description

Lead platform software architecture and design decisions for the CAKE (Cloud Automation K8s Engineering) platform. You will own the technical direction, ensuring scalability and reliability while mentoring the engineering team.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Lead platform software architecture and design decisions.
• Provide technical direction and mentoring to ensure platform scalability and reliability.
• Read, guide, and review Python/Go code.
• Read, guide, and review TypeScript/JavaScript code.
• Apply deep expertise in distributed systems and cloud architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software architecture.
• Deep expertise in Kubernetes engine design and k8s knowledge.
• Strong background in cloud architecture.
• Proficiency in Python and Go.
• Proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript.
• Knowledge of microservice design patterns.
• Understanding of authentication systems and backplane data.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with innovative thinking in distributed systems.
