Description

You will provide technical support and professional services for Syncsort Optimize IMS to the Sales organization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Provide Syncsort Optimize IMS technical support for the Sales organization.
• Deliver Syncsort Optimize IMS professional services.
• Support z/OS subsystem components including JES, DFSMS, WLM, RACF, and SMF.
• Utilize systems tools and utilities such as JCL, SDSF, IDCAMS, and REXX.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience.
• Programming background in IMS and DB2 (applications or systems programming).
• Working knowledge of CICS.
• Basic competence in COBOL.
• Proficiency in JCL, SDSF, IDCAMS, and REXX.
• Knowledge of z/OS subsystems: JES, DFSMS, WLM, RACF, SMF.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of PL/I.
• Knowledge of assembler.
