Define architecture and technical strategy for healthcare data platforms, balancing modernization with operational risk.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and prototype critical platform components using React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle/PLSQL, and .NET.
• Lead strangler fig modernization and modular monolith decomposition to migrate legacy Classic ASP systems.
• Establish architecture decision records, reference architectures, and engineering standards for multiple product teams.
• Mentor engineers and align technical leads, product stakeholders, and executives around shared technical direction.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience, including significant ownership of complex systems or modernization initiatives.
• Deep experience with API-first design, domain-driven design, and event-driven architecture.
• Proficiency in React, Python/FastAPI, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Oracle/PLSQL, and .NET.
• Proven track record of building and scaling internal platforms adopted by multiple product teams.
• Experience with master data management, data matching, search, and data governance in healthcare contexts.
• Fluency with AI-assisted software development practices and responsible adoption guidance.
• Familiarity with observability, application performance monitoring, and production readiness practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with message queues, search platforms, and cloud or hybrid infrastructure patterns.
• Familiarity with lean/agile product delivery and organizational change management.
