Description

You will own the design and architecture of advanced automation frameworks for desktop applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect scalable automation frameworks for desktop applications.
• Develop automation strategies for desktop, API, and database layers, integrating them into CI/CD pipelines.
• Mentor the automation team, establishing and enforcing engineering best practices.
• Evaluate manual testing processes to identify automation opportunities for efficiency.
• Drive root cause analysis and troubleshooting across cross-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 10+ years designing and maintaining test automation frameworks, focused on desktop applications (Windows, .NET, or similar).
• Expertise in framework architecture, including modular, component-based, and data-driven methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of desktop UI automation tools (WinAppDriver, White, Pywinauto, FlaUI, TestStack).
• Experience automating APIs and packaged/custom desktop applications.
• 7+ years collaborating with multidisciplinary teams on enterprise automation solutions.
• Proficiency in Python, .NET, C#, Java, or Bash.
• Strong command of SQL for query writing and basic schema design.
• Hands-on experience implementing CI/CD processes for autonomous desktop automation.
• Comfort operating in both Windows and Linux environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Tosca or other enterprise-level automation platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related discipline.
