Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable automation testing pipelines for the Yahoo Mail iOS app.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect and evolve automated test frameworks to enable CI/CD for mobile releases.
• Develop and maintain automated test suites for functional, regression, performance, and integration testing across iOS devices and OS versions.
• Collaborate with iOS development and product teams to embed automation into the development lifecycle.
• Identify, analyze, and triage complex defects through root cause analysis.
• Mentor engineers on test automation best practices, code quality, and building testable iOS features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development or quality assurance with a focus on mobile test automation.
• Expertise in designing and maintaining complex automated test frameworks for iOS at scale.
• Proficiency in Swift, Objective-C, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with XCUItest or Appium.
• Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or GitLab CI.
• Technical knowledge of iOS platform behaviors, lifecycles, and mobile architecture patterns.
• Experience with mobile debugging tools including Xcode, Charles Proxy, and TestFlight.
• Proficiency with JIRA and crash log analysis.

Preferred Skills

• Experience writing tests using AI and/or ML frameworks.
• Knowledge of performance, network, and security testing for mobile applications.
