Description

Lead the architecture and development of a high-performance, composable software platform. Own the design transformations toward modern, simple, and cloud-based end states.

Responsibilities

• Define software architecture and technical capabilities in collaboration with product and UX teams.
• Establish engineering standards, guidance, and processes within working groups.
• Coach and mentor engineers on domain design and technical implementation.
• Partner with QA to design non-functional tests and manage supplier technology needs.
• Create and communicate software designs for complex products using agile processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience designing, building, and operating commercial software.
• Expertise in building composable runtimes using C++.
• Experience developing platforms that execute in low milliseconds.
• Proven track record operating critical runtime components using observability for root cause diagnosis.
• Strong knowledge of domain-driven, event-driven, and microservices architectures.
• Technical expertise across public cloud, private cloud, and on-premises infrastructure.
• Experience supporting production software deployments and managing complex product lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud technologies.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes control plane and ecosystem.
• Experience integrating multiple languages into a C++ runtime.
