Description

You will architect and manage Kubernetes-based infrastructure and physical data centers for large-scale services.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and manage infrastructure across compute, network, storage, and developer productivity layers.
• Optimize infrastructure for High Performance Computing (HPC) workloads.
• Architect multi-regional Kubernetes deployments to ensure high resiliency and scalability.
• Define auxiliary services, including cohesive service mesh architectures.
• Lead engineering teams toward modern DevOps practices and multi-site software operations.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in distributed systems and cloud infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in geo-scale, distributed Kubernetes-based service platforms.
• Proficiency with major cloud providers: AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong containerization and orchestration skills using Kubernetes.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or Salt.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or Go.
• Hands-on experience with relational, NoSQL, and in-memory databases (Postgres, Aurora, DynamoDB, Redis, ElastiCache).
• Knowledge of service mesh technologies like Istio or Linkerd.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Concourse, AWS CodeDeploy, CircleCI) and observability stacks (Splunk, ELK, Prometheus, DataDog, New Relic).
