You will lead the design, deployment, and management of scalable, fault-tolerant virtual environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and manage virtual environments using VMware, OpenStack, and Wind River.
• Implement zero-touch provisioning and automated recovery using Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins.
• Integrate virtualization frameworks with Kubernetes and cloud-native services.
• Monitor performance, optimize resources, and implement automated incident responses.
• Mentor junior engineers and define virtualization best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional experience in virtualization technologies, including VMware and OpenStack.
• 10+ years of programming experience in Java, C++, Perl, Python, Ruby, or advanced Shell scripting.
• Expertise in bare-metal and virtualized deployments of VMware, Wind River, OpenStack, or OpenShift.
• Hands-on experience managing virtual environments across multiple remote locations and data centers.
• Advanced knowledge of cluster management, resource allocation, and virtual networking.
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with VMware on Cloud (VMC) on AWS and hybrid cloud strategies.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes integration with virtualized platforms.
• Proficiency in Wind River and OpenStack for telecom-grade orchestration.
