Description

Lead the end-to-end migration of Application Lifecycle Management processes from Team Foundation Server (TFS) to Jira.

Responsibilities

• Analyze current TFS setups, including workflows, customizations, and integrations, to develop a migration strategy and risk mitigation plan.
• Map TFS data structures to Jira, including work items, backlogs, sprints, and custom fields.
• Execute data extraction, transformation, and loading using scripts or migration tools to ensure data integrity.
• Configure Jira workflows, schemes, permissions, automation rules, and dashboards.
• Integrate Jira with existing CI/CD pipelines and tools like Confluence and Bitbucket.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in ALM migrations or implementations.
• Expertise in both TFS and Jira platforms.
• Deep understanding of ALM processes, Agile methodologies, and DevOps practices.
• Proficiency in scripting with Python or PowerShell.
• Experience using migration tools such as OpsHub or custom APIs.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines.
• Proven ability to manage project timelines, deliverables, and technical risks.

Preferred Skills

• Jira configuration and administration experience.
• Familiarity with the Atlassian suite, including Confluence, Bitbucket, or Bamboo.
• Experience migrating complex workflows and historical data dependencies.
