Description

You will lead the strategic vision for data architecture, modeling, and movement to support Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial healthcare analytics.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term strategic goals for data architecture vision and standards alongside key stakeholders.
• Lead data modeling and movement initiatives to enhance data warehouse architecture for claims, provider, TPL, and member domains.
• Translate business needs into end-to-end logical and physical data models and data flows.
• Oversee data source mapping, interfaces, and analytics to ensure data quality and regulatory compliance.
• Design scalable data solutions including data marts, warehouses, and advanced analytics environments.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in data management and analytics.
• Expertise in Data Modeling, Data Strategy, and roadmapping for complex healthcare entities.
• Deep knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial healthcare data sets.
• Expertise in normalized OLTP, OLAP, MDM, and dimensional modeling (Star schemas, SCD, dimensional hierarchies).
• Expert-level SQL skills including complex analytic queries, stored procedures, DDL, DML, and DCL.
• Proficiency in query optimization and writing code to ANSI standards.
• Strong understanding of regulatory security requirements for HIPAA, PHI, and PII.
• Experience with Data Quality, Data Profiling, Data Governance, and Metadata Management.
• Proven ability in data migration and archival strategies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud infrastructure (Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, Purview).
• Experience with Snowflake DBMS.
• Experience with PowerBI or Tableau.
