Description

You will define and implement end-to-end Azure data architecture, leveraging ADLS Gen2, ADF, Synapse, Databricks, and Microsoft Fabric to build scalable, secure, and cost-effective data solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms, ensuring alignment with data governance, cataloging, and lineage frameworks.
• Architect data lakehouse and warehouse solutions, translating business requirements into robust technical designs for high-volume workloads.
• Drive data platform standardization by implementing automation, CI/CD practices, and efficient data integration and orchestration patterns.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineers and data modelers, fostering best practices in data engineering and architecture.

Required Skills

• 14+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, or analytics, with at least 6 years specifically on Azure data services.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Azure Synapse Analytics.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric, including Data Engineering, Data Warehouse, and Data Activator components.
• Experience designing data lakehouse architectures, ELT pipelines, and real-time data solutions.
• Proven track record in solution architecture, cost optimization, and performance tuning for large-scale data systems.
• Familiarity with data governance, security protocols, and metadata management frameworks.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on experience with Databricks, PySpark, and Power BI.
• Azure certifications such as Azure Solutions Architect Expert or Data Engineer Associate.
