Description

Lead large-scale, AI-native data transformations on Google Cloud Platform for enterprise clients.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data and AI platforms using GCP-native tools including BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataplex, and Looker.
• Lead migrations from legacy systems such as Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, SQL Server, and Hadoop to GCP.
• Operationalize ML models by partnering with data scientists to use Vertex AI Pipelines, Model Monitoring, and Feature Store.
• Optimize cost and throughput for AI and data workloads through rigorous benchmarking of BigQuery and allied services.
• Collaborate with CDOs and CIOs to define cloud AI strategies and technical transformation roadmaps.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with GCP, BigQuery, Vertex AI, Dataplex, and Looker.
• Proven experience migrating legacy platforms including Teradata, Netezza, Oracle, SQL Server, and Hadoop.
• Deep understanding of modern data platforms, MLOps, and LLM-powered architectures.
• Ability to bridge the gap between legacy systems and next-generation AI/ML ecosystems.
• Experience integrating GenAI and predictive ML into modern data pipelines.
