Description

Lead the Data Warehouse team to architect solutions and solve complex data modeling problems.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Propose and review architecture designs and complex data models.
• Gather requirements from clients to build a holistic roadmap.
• Develop and deliver high-quality data features to a high standard.
• Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies for data initiatives.
• Lead a team of Senior Data Engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years in software development with focus on backend and data engineering.
• 4+ years leading a team of Senior Data Engineers.
• 8+ years hands-on experience with Python, JVM, and Shell Scripting in production.
• 5+ years building cloud-native, data-intensive applications.
• Proficiency in architecting and implementing workflow management systems, specifically Airflow.
• Required experience with Databricks and dbt.
• Proficiency in an IaC tool such as Terraform, CDK, or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience building and maintaining Spark applications.
• Experience with Client Web Services is mandatory.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with GCP.
• Experience with observability systems (e.g., Datadog or Prometheus/Grafana).
