Description

Lead enterprise-wide DevOps transformation, architecture design, and delivery pipeline optimization.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable DevOps architectures, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and monitoring systems.
• Own and optimize delivery pipelines to ensure high reliability, scalability, and security.
• Oversee deployment, maintenance, and optimization of Kubernetes clusters and containerized environments.
• Lead API design and development initiatives to ensure system efficiency.
• Drive policy-as-code initiatives and mentor engineering teams to build internal capabilities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, DevOps, or cloud architecture.
• 5+ years in a senior leadership capacity.
• Hands-on expertise with GitHub Actions for CI/CD automation.
• Deep knowledge of Kubernetes architecture, deployment patterns, and best practices.
• Expertise in containerization technologies including Docker, Helm, and Harbor.
• Strong proficiency with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
• Proven experience in API design and development.
• Experience with cloud platforms including GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), On-Prem, and hybrid cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with C# / .NET, Angular.js, or administering RabbitMQ clusters.
• Experience using Open Policy Agent (OPA) for policy-as-code enforcement.
• Certifications such as CKA or Google Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer.
