Description

Design and maintain the build, release, and deploy toolchain while ensuring cloud infrastructure parity across development, staging, and production environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Prototype and develop cloud-native architecture solutions for application needs.
• Implement monitoring infrastructure including automated logging, alerting, and observability systems.
• Manage and maintain environment parity across cloud infrastructure.
• Provide on-call support and troubleshoot web-scale production issues.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and source control workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in SRE, Systems Engineering, or DevOps roles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Python, Go, Ruby, or Java for automating production systems.
• Extensive experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, VPC peering, Route53, S3, Autoscaling).
• Advanced knowledge of Kubernetes and Docker.
• Infrastructure as Code experience, specifically with Terraform.
• Deep understanding of Linux systems, internals, and networking protocols (HTTP, DNS, TLS).
• Proficiency with configuration management and monitoring tools (Ansible, Salt, Nagios, Graphite, Fluentd, Vector).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Linux package management (rpm, deb, fpm).
• Knowledge of distributed systems (ZooKeeper, Consul) and NoSQL (Redis, DynamoDB).
