Description

Lead the full lifecycle of electrical hardware design and technical execution for aerospace products.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Own the electrical hardware design lifecycle, including schematics, operational diagrams, and detailed electrical layouts.
• Manage the design of test articles, fixtures, wire harnesses, and representative loads for qualification and production.
• Lead and chair design reviews while mentoring electrical engineering team members.
• Mitigate design risks and ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, and certification specifications.
• Execute conceptual studies, analytical system design, and complex design calculations.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of relevant electrical design engineering experience.
• Expertise in designing and troubleshooting DC-DC power supplies and EMI filtering/management.
• Proficiency with Altium Design and SVN repositories.
• Experience using NX and Team Center.
• Background in Aerospace products and DO-160 or MIL-STD environmental qualification.
• Experience with Oxygen Systems or Passenger Service Units (PSUs).
• Knowledge of software within circuit board designs.
• Ability to manage electrical component obsolescence and alternate parts mitigation.
• B.S. Degree in a relevant field.
• Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident with a Green Card.

Preferred Skills

• Experience leading design reviews and mentoring junior engineers.
